WHAT'S YOUR APPROACH/TECHNIQUE TO ACTING ?
My philosophy has evolved through the years. I have studied Stanislavsky, The Method, Meisner and other acting techniques such as Viola Spolin’s Improv, Michael Chekhov, Alexander Technique for Movement, and have studied with some of the top teachers from Yale, NYU, The Actors Center in NY and Deborah Hedwall Studios. My approach to the work and working with all of you is multi faceted. I believe the foundation lies in all of this work so some actors may work better with Meisner repetition in class, some may work with sense memory, some may need emotional recall, some may be simply restricted by body tension. I like to assess each actor as they are actually working on their first scene and then tailor my approach to each individual actor, to each class, each scene based on what I’m seeing in real time.
Do I HAVE TO AUDITION AND/OR INTERVIEW WITH YOU TO TAKE CLASSES WITH YOU ?
Yes! Our studio is for acting students or working professionals who are serious about acting as a craft or a profession. You must have a grasp of the basics of acting through taking classes and/or performing. The Audition/Interview consists of one contemporary monologue, no more than two minutes, dramatic or contemporary, that is appropriate for your age. After this we will have a short 10 minute discussion.
HOW MANY STUDENTS ARE IN EACH CLASS ?
No more than ten students per class.
WHAT IF I MISS A CLASS ?
Since most work we do not only relies on scene partners but is really a collaborative and supportive effort along with your fellow actors, we encourage you to make every effort possible to fully attend every class. If for any reason you must miss class, we require 48 hours notice to both the studio and your scene partner. You are also required to scehdule and rehearse with your scene partner so you are both fully ready to participate in each class.
DO YOU WORK WITH BEGINNERSWHO'VE NEVER STUDIED ACTING BEFORE ?
Not at the current time.. Currently I work with students who have a strong foundation through acting classes and/or professional work.
CAN I AUDIT A CLASS ?
I believe the work in the studio is sacred and very private for anyone who studies with us, so we do not offer the opportunity to audit classes.
hHOW DO I REGISTER FOR ONE OF YOUR CLASSES ?

DO YOU ACCEPT MULTIPLE PAYMENTS OR HAVE PAYMENT PLANS ?
Yes. We offer either a one time upfront payment before the beginning of class or two payments; one prior to the start of class and then the second payment after the third class.
WHAT IS YOUR REFUND POLICY ?
Refund/Cancellation Policy for 6-Week Classes and Workshops:
We do not offer refunds for classes you may miss due to illness or other personal reasons.
If you cancel your enrollment in a class in advance of 15 days from the start date, you will receive a full refund.
Once you have paid for a set of classes and have taken more than two classes, payment is non-refundable.
